Thats not true on the 2011s if you have the EIC on your gauge cluster you can turn it off using the steering wheel controls, you can also adjust a bunch of other things like the ECO indicator and how the keyless entry works etc..

You do still need to do the dance to disable the ESP and TC completely like before.

I've seen the HSA disable thread on here, so I'll try that. Didn't mind it until I read where you guys say it may drag a little with it on. I have no problems with a clutch on a hill so.........and to be clear, once you disable it, it will stay off until you re activate it wi the steering wheel dance again?

Funny, my '08 does not have hill start assist. It is a Rubi, I wonder if that "feature" is not available on the Rubi.

Dunno what the difference in the 08 and 09 Rubi is but my 09 has it....

If you have the steering wheel controls simply, hit menu until you come to Personnel Settings, from there hit down until you find the Hill Start Assist and right to turn it on or off.
