disabling stability control
I have a wheel speed sensor that is malfunctioning, causing the front brakes to clamp down when I first begin driving. It stops after about a quarter mile, but is quickly getting worse. I don't have the funds right now to have it repaired and it will likely be a few weeks before I can afford it. I don't want to cause more damage nor do I want it to cause me to have an accident. Is there a way to disable this 'safety' function until I can take it to the dealer?
My Jeep is an 07 JKU Rubicon. No current warranty and just over 100K miles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (unless the suggestion is to get it to the garage). Thanks in advance! HBC
