Question Discolored plastic interior door trim

Has anyone seen anything like this yet? The top of the interior door trim (where you rest your arm with the window down) has a yellow "stain" or discoloration in the plastic. It appears to be ingrained in the material (definitely not a surface stain). I haven't noticed it anywhere else on the vehicle...

Thoughts?

thanks

Looking at where it's at i'd say either you or someone else had a chemical or something on their arm? Did this just suddenly appear?

It looks like it's in the area that your arm might have done it? Do you ever put sunscreen or other lotions on your arm? I have seen sunscreen discolor interior plastic before. Don't really know, wash your arm or don't go though the mud.

Shower more often and you wont get any more stains!! J/K I agree with the rest of the posters, some king of chemical discoloration most likley from lotion/sunscreen/sweat.

Maybe it's just the photo, but from that view it looks to me like the same stuff that's on your floormat.

Dude, you be nasty.... J/K... I'd agree, it looks like some sort of sunscreen or chemical residue. Try mild soap and water combined with three parts elbow grease. Or armor all...
