Default Do you drive with your back window open?

Just wondering if anyone drives with the back window open/up when the weather is nice. I keep the hardtop on and take off the freedom panels but was wondering about the back window being up...I wish the damn thing just went down!

No way. The low pressure created at the rear will suck exhaust fumes in the Jeep.

hmmm...that would not be fun...I was already one of those that drove around with a test pipe and used to gag on my own fumes in traffic lol

I wouldn't worry so much about the rear window open with the freedom tops open. In fact, in the soft tops, that's how you're supposed to drive (With the sunrider back).

There's enough airflow through the cabin, it seems for exhaust not to be a problem.

However, the real issue is the glass being up in the air. A pebble hits that thing on the highway and you're looking at a big mess.

Yes. I did it in my CJ, TJ and now my JK. I also have other windows open, though.

Default back window

When I had my hard top on I use to drive with the window open. I never got the smell of exhaust at all, and it seemed to work perfect. In fact I use to put my 2 pups in the rear, and open the window so they could get some air. They loved it!!!

Fressh air would fill the entire vehicle... So im really not worried about fumes at all.

Exactly! Its not much different that having a safari type bikini (non mesh) top on.
