Door hinge issue.

Default Door hinge issue.

Hey y'all,
I have a 2008 Jeep wrangler X. I tried removing the doors today, and realized they don't wanna come off. Is this normal, I checked the bottom of the hinge for the torx screw head but I have nothing. I'll add pictures for help..

Spray some penetrating oil in there and let it soap a couple days. You may really have to work at getting the doors off off you haven't had them off in a long time.

Yeah get some pb blaster and let it set. Then tap on the bottom of the hinge with a deadblow or a mallet. When you get them off order some delrin hinge liners.

See what others have done for corrosion protection too. Once u take the doors off and break that factory seal you've opened up that area to get water/dirt/road salt to make its way in.

Yep, you'll likely kill the plastic bushings to get them out the first time. Here's the place I got my derlin bushings:
