I took mine off. They live in a drawer during the summer, when I take the doors off a lot.

Ha...funny man, maybe I can do the same but reverse if I ever want full doors.

One draw back is that I put a BIG ARSE scratch in my upper door panel window today, it was rubbed against another panel insert rail(the part you insert into the lower doors.) SUCKS, but I still love my half doors...anyone with see locks??

I ordered some Jeeper Keeper locks from jeeperkeepers.com for my TJ on Monday. You can buy a set for $50 but I ordered two sets with matching keys so all 4 hinges would match. Only 5 bucks for shipping unlike a larger store that wanted $20 to send 4 bolts.

Anyway...I traded in the TJ and bought a JK Rubi on Tuesday. I got the TJ locks today. They looked well made. Kelvin said I could send them back and he would send me the JK version no problem. I would give them a thumbs up for service. If nobody beats me too it I'll post pictures as my 1st extreme mod.

Ummmm....maybe it's just me, but $50 per set ($85 for the JK) seems a little steep for a couple of bolts. I think I'll take my chances. My insurance deductible is $100, so if my doors get stolen, I'd rather pay the $100 and let the insurance company buy me new doors. The locks just aren't worth it for that price. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for something like that.

I have Tuffy's door locks on my TJ. Been on since 2000 and still have my doors. On my second computer brain though , damn thieves.
