Door Latch Troubles
Does anyone have the repair manual for the JK? I need to see how the drivers door latch assembly is put together and cables are routed.
Ever since I had mine repaired from getting hit by a deer, the latch will catch and then the door will not shut unless I push the lock (interior) hard. I had the cables replaced once by the repair facility and now it is doing it again. I am taking it to the dealer (hopefully paid for by insurance) next week but it won't be a warranty claim because of the accident.

here is a link to the half door assembly instructions. They show how the latches are connected.

if the link doesn't work, google "chrysler easy" and input your model, etc. and look for half door kits. the details page will have a PDF with the assembly info.
