Guess I am the only one with this problem???

Our 2014 hardtop JK leaks around the molding at the top and most forward point of the driver's door. The molding looks exactly the same on both sides, but only the driver's side leaks. [original molding] If the wind is blowing the water comes right in.

The curious thing is that it looks like the molding has been trimmed.

 

No, you are not. My hard top has been leaking since new. Replaced the moldings under warranty, made the situation worse. Used all my Aerospace Repair & Overhaul skills(tried trimming @ caulking) to no avail. Gave up and pulled the drain plugs. Don't crank the wings to tight, you will get leaking from the center speakers, and over the radio console. It gets really bad here in the winter, freeze and thaw. I park facing uphill to discourage water getting in.

 

Sounds like your leak is center-line from the removable panels, while mine is from the forward end of the driver door. The area of the molding that looks like it has been trimmed, but has not. See picture.

I've had exact the same problem with my 14 JK. It's still there but when I use silicon grease on the rubber parts, on the doors and roof, it will go away for a time until it dries out again.

 

Mine dose as well. Has since it was a few months old.

Both vehicles I have had with removable roofs have been this way.
