To the top. I'm planning on working on this tomorrow night again. So some help would be great.

I've disconnected all 4 doors and tried the fuse but same problem. Fuse touches windshield fluid sprays and doesn't shut off. Not sure if I should disconnect the tailgate also and test this theory so that ALL door locks are disconnected?

My only other test would be to first pull all fuses to check if anything else is blown? Maybe I should get a test light for this? Then try and figure out where the motor for the washer fluid is and disconnect it. Check and see if door locks function properly.

As of right now they do not function properly with the fuse left in and the washer fluid constantly spraying.

So that starts to sound like a TIPM problem.. kind of... disconnect the battery for a few minutes... the reconnect and try stuff again...

Ok that's just what I needed. Never heard of that issue before but now doing some searching it seems as if Chrysler is notorious for it.

I have had some issues with my doors not locking some days, a no start issue that the dealer thinks is a WCM module and the horn would randomly go off sometimes.

Is there anyway to tell if it's a TIPM module or WCM? It seems as if both systems control the door locks and both can be linked to my no start issue.

Yeah... that's a tough one to call. You're correct that both can do that. Did you unhook your battery for a while to let things 'reboot' of sort?

The dealership should be able to test the TIPM... I think.

Last night I disconnected the battery, pulled and reseated all of the smaller fuses, pulled the TIPM up and blew off all the wires with an air compressor and kinda wiggled them around hoping to make a better connection.

Put everything back with no luck. As soon as that fuse goes in there that motor kicks on.

Am I stuck going to the dealer at this point? It doesn't seem like something a smaller shop can do. I see different things on the internet about the TIPM having to be programmed by the dealer. The WCM is a dealer only option also.

Could the dealer re-flash or update the TIPM? I'm sure if that actually fixed it they would never tell me and then try to charge me for a new unit

Default Must be in the Air

I had a similar Problem, in the End, I added a dual Gage Pod with an Oil sending Unit & Volt meter , by the time I got this all done tore the Dash apart to hook up wires, and I turned the Key off & on several times to find the correct wire to hook into the gauges for lights. My Alarm goes Off when I take the Key out of the ignition and leave the door open, but once I install the Key the alarm shuts off.... so I got tired of messing with it tonight, so I proceeded to lock it up, Now the Fob doesn't lock or unlock, I checked M38, its good, Tomorrow when I get off work the Battery cables are getting yanked...... got to love tinkering and cussing these Jks

I just replaced my tipm for washers working all the time. Also tail lights stopped working, wipers started going crazy, eventually leading to complete failure with no power to anything. I worked at dealer in 07 and I replaced a million wcm modules as well. They need to recall the tipms. Nothing is cheap. Sorry!

Yea keep me updated about this. I really don't want to have to buy a new TIPM and I certainly don't want to pay to have the dealer install it.
