Is it normal that the front driver's door doesn't lock from the inside?
When I put the jeep into drive, I hear the doors auto lock, which is great...however, if I pull the door handle, the door opens. Even when I lock the doors myself from the inside, the door still opens.

Maybe it's normal? Has anyone else tried/noticed this?

 

yes thats normal, so you dont get locked in the Jeep in an emergency, I do believe all vehicles with power locks are the same way

 

The door will unlock when you go to open it, if it has auto-locked, or you have locked it from the inside. If you use the key fob to lock it, and open from the inside, I believe the alarm will sound.
Also, you can make it so all the doors unlock, or just the driver's door.

 

How is this possible through the key fob? I would love to know b/c now I have to hit the fob twice before they all unlock.
