Door seal issues
Hey guys this is a random little flaw on my jeep but ive noticed that other peoples jk door clse easily with no effort but for some reason with mine i have to slam my door just so they shut all the way. Im just trying to figure out if im the only one with this or if its a common thing in the JKs. Its not a huge deal but just tired of slamming my door all the time haha
This is so with a Hardtop. They eventually work themselves in a little better depending on weather temp, time of year etc. A snug fit is good. Sometimes, if you leave a window open a crack, the door will be easier to close.
Always an issue after unmake the switch from softtop to hardtop. It takes a whole lotta effort to close some I'd been used to softtop
Going the other way in spring is funny. I end up slamming door for at least a week. Kids find it hard to adjust.
Learn to love the good seal. No leaks.

I have a left door that needs a lot more force than the drivers, always has.
As above, if the top is off or the windows are down both are a lot easier to shut, but there is still a noticeable difference

My rear doors are noticeably harder to shut than my fronts. I figure it has something to do with how much use they get. My right rear is almost impossible to open or shut, I'm thinking it has rusted hinge pins that are galling up inside. Just a thought, but sanding and greasing the hinge pins might help them close a bit better. That's on the docket for mine when I get some free time.
