Default Door sensor

I just purchased a 2007 jkur and discovered that the door sensor in the front drivers door seems to not shut off the accessories when i shut off the vehicle and get out. All the other doors work. Is there something i should look at first?

I'd start by checking the wiring harness on the driver's door. It seems like the jeep is just not recognizing when that door is opened if i understand properly. Unclip the harness and verify all the pins are making a good connection.

I had to resolve an issue with a wiring harness earlier this week. Not sure if you're harness is similar on an '07, but the idea should be the same in regards to a wire working loose -

Contacts are clean. I just was playing with it a bit and noticed something. When the door is open (radio and accessories are still going) if i push up on the door latching mecanism the it will kill all the power as intended. I am not at home, so i cannot loosen the torx bolts and see if i can adjust it any. Doesnt reall look like its adjustable tho.

Looks like it can be adjusted on my '14. There's tape over the adjustment screw access hole. Maybe it's the same for you.

Thats how mine is as well. I tried turning it clockwose, but it wouldnt go at all, when i tried counter clockwise it would act like the bolt was almost out and would not change anything.

The instructions say to loosen that screw 1/2 to 1 full turn. Then operate the handle several times. Then retighten. That leads me to believe it's self-aligning and the screw just holds it in place.
