Door Storage Problem
Okay, so I have a situation. I have a 2012 Sport 2D with full doors and all that. I also live in barracks on the third floor. Taking two steel doors up a few flights of stairs every time I need to doesn't seem very practical.
Right now I have the doors sitting out in the open in the back seat area, does anyone know a better way to store the doors in the vehicle? Or does anyone have any other possible solutions?

That's just asking for trouble. This clearly not going to be what you want to hear but I say lug them in. Or make friends with someone on the first floor. Good luck!

I agree with buying half doors with uppers and getting rid of yours if possible.
However, a much cheaper option is something like what another forum member, bushpilot made. Check it out here: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-t...-234724/page3/ He built it out of wood, some people have built them out of PVC pipe. It seems pretty stable. I have a 4 door, so I don't have much reference for how much room you would have in a 2 door, but if you could build one that fit in the trunk space, you may be able to keep your back seats up. Worse come to worse, you could have a collapsible one like bushpilot has built, and drop off your doors whenever you want at a base location.
Good luck.

I might consider half doors. That would make it easier to find a place for them and all. As for making something to store them in/on. I'll see what I can do for that.
Thanks for the responses.
