Default Driver seat

So today I had a bad day. I went to the park with my 4 year old and I had some jeans on that had a button on the back pocket and part of the button broke off and went I got in my jeep it caused a small tear in my netting on the seat. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Thought about seeing if the dealer would cover it under the 3yr/36? I dont want seat covers so that is not a option. Such bad luck I was thinking to myself what are the odds of that. Thanks

'wear and tear', you'll be hard pressed to find the dealer cover it. Unless the stitching or something is actually separating. Sorry to hear about that.

I'd live with the small tear myself, or it sounds like you are looking at a seat...

Yeah I have been reading around a couple forums and It looks to me like the yes essential seats are seat covers. 2 peice one for bottom one for back. It just bothers me cause I bought the jeep less than 2 months ago and I know Im going to have it for the next 5 years. And how F up the situation ways that it happend million to one odds. Anyone know if thats correct if they yes essential seats are just seat covers that can be replaced? I have been googling the crap out of it and cant find any online for sale.

I think your cheapest way out is to have a local upholstery shop repair it. The closet thing I have seen on the market to a replacement is the mopar "jeep" covers. You could ask a dealer if they have a separate part number listed for the upholstery vs. the whole seat.

Not sure about how the dealer would seperate the pieces, but keep watch in the FS section. I've seen full sets (YES an non) going for around $150. I always tell myself I should have an extra set just to have handy, but I never pull the trigger. Some folks will sell their sets b/c of a leather install, and the one's I've seen FS around here are pretty new... Good luck

Yeah for sure I will keep my eye out. I was looking at a few mods with people putting heaters in there seats and it looks like the butt and back parts on the seat are 2 seperate peices and there just covers but was just looking for someone to confirm. Thanks

Search the classifieds, someone was selling the YES covers a short while back. With images you could use for reference. I don't know if I'd call them "covers," but the fabric looked to be two pieces stripped off the seat, intact.
