Default Drivers Door

I took off the doors on my jeep for the first time this weekend. I use my JK as a daily driver so I put the doors back on for work.
Now, whenever I go over a speedbump or expansion joints on a bridge the door sounds like it isn't shut all of the way. (Drivers door that is). Also, I ran it through a car wash today and water came in, not very much...but I don't remember it happening before.
Did I miss a step putting the door back on? Is the stricker adjustable somehow? Anyone else have this issue? I tired to search..but found alot of unrelated things. If someone can point me to another thread that would be great too.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Trying reinstalling the door, but don't put the nuts back on. Close the door and go for a test drive and water hose test. Mine used to leak and then I removed the doors one sunny day and didn't put the nuts back on. It's now been through numerous thunderstorms and no more leaks.

That doesn't make sense. I'm guessing re-installing the door just seated something properly. The nuts don't have anything to do with normal door use; they just stop the door from being lifted off. Nothing else.

Is it possible that the door got bent somehow while it was off?

I sure hope not. 3k miles and bent doors? AUGH! When I searched though the thread on JK noises, I see people have issues with noise at the B pillar and they advise putting electrical tape on the catch. I am positive the noise is coming from the door...sounds like it isn't shut all of the way.

I'm going to take the door completely off tonight....and reseat it.

And??? Did your dealer ever find the "correct fix"? I took the door off and put it back on, and still the same noise. I have now taped the catch/strike (WTF is it called? ) I know it's not the correct fix...and with 3k some miles, I'm not happy about it but the noise drives me nuts!

Guess its a good time to replace the speakers in the soundbar and just turn it up!

A lot of us have this noise. It wasn't from you taking your doors off. My drivers door makes the same noise.

No the dealer has no fix just the tape thing, I am going to pickup some wrench dip it's a rubber type coating for tools and try that, For years the strikers on car doors have had a type of plastic coating on them, I think it’s just the metal on metal thing that makes the noise, I did keep some grease on it and no noise but every time I get near the jeep I had grease on me.

I always wondered if I attached small peices of foam around the door if it would stop. Anyone try this? The foam would be on the underside of the door, so it wouldn't be seen.
