Default Driver's Seat Height

My friend is around 6'3"-6'4" and his adjustable JK driver's seat won't go low enough for him. He said he can have someone fix it for him for about $500, which seems ridiculous!

Anyone out there found a way to remove the adjustment portion under the seat and then remount the seat? He's willing to spend some money on this, as it would make Jeepin much more enjoyable for him...

Thanks,
fat

I am 6'4" and have no problems.. I have it dropped as low as it can go...

This is the most comfortable Jeep I have sat in for my height...

Yeah, I'm not quite as tall as your friend but I feel the JK is great from a seating postiton, better than the TJ and MUCH better than my fiances Liberty, I feel like I'm looking through the top of the windshield in that thing.

There is a lot of really nice aftermarket seats out there and they use different mounting configurations and frames. If he where to find seats he likes, he could swap them out.
