Default Drivers side floor board rust

I knew i had a little rust in this area until i started to peel off the beading on top of floor. To my surprise i can put my finger through the floor in a spot. A area of 12" square. Of course i am a year out of my rust warranty. They just basically laughed at me. I said my jeep is spotless. I take care of it and i have no rust at all except the hinges like others. Having the floorboard rust right through is not right. This is something more then what a rust warranty covers. I said so if you don't look under the carpet to check every spot on the jeep you are shit out of luck. Ya basically. So for everyone out there beware and check this area well. I only had a hint of rust on the outside of the bead but fully rusted under. Now i need to cut and weld a new floorboard on a rust free jeep.

I had some surface rust in my '08 I had to grind down before I had in Line-X'd. I was amazed at how wide an area it was. Seems to me if you have the "leaky roof" like lots of us do then they should be fixing your floor board. Love Jeeps but this is the worst thing about the design in my opinion.
