Default dumb question

Is it ok to powerwash my engine? I'm heading to the car wash tomorrow and I have a lot of dried mud on my engine. I'm assuming yes because you can sugmerge the engine if you have a snorkel.

I hope so, I've done it many times. The JK is bad about getting mud up into the engine compartment.
