I am pretty sure they are Goodyear but people like them. My dealer said that they move a lot of them. 285/70-17 was the biggest they carried and I wanted 285/75-17 so I did not try them.

I switched to them about 8 months ago since I couldn't find safari tsr's anywhere. 285/70/17, very happy with them. Great road manners, wear and balance. Fairly quiet. Good in heavy rains, great in snow and mud. Excellent price too. Pretty much all I can ask for in a tire. As of right now, I'll be replacing with another set when they wear out for sure.

I have had mine for almost a year and have put 10,000 miles on them. Purchased them from Discount tire direct, they were cheap compared to BFG and GY tires. My only complaint was that they seemed to take a lot of weight to get them to balance 6 oz was the average one took almost 8oz. They seem to do well on rocks and snow, I haven't tried them in thick mud.

Had mine for over a year and 1/2. No complaints. Smooth, quite and no pulling on pavement. Performed well in cold ice/snow. Seem to hydroplane in heavy rain, only bad thing. As for off road, I've been pretty hard on them and have performed w/ the best. Clear out mud and seem ok in crawling rock. Not sticky, or crawlers by any means, but do ok and hold their own. I've been surprised at how long they have kept. Lots of miles, probably 25-30k and still 1/2 tread left or better.

Those were my 2nd choice however they were not avaiable when I was in the market for them... I've heard a lot of good things though...

I ended up going with the Kelly Safari TSR's so far I love em! Flings mud like crazy, self cleaning, not loud at all, great in the sand...
