Stock JK TechBulletin board forum regarding issues with OE (original equipment) components of the Jeep JK Wrangler (Rubicon, Sahara, Unlimited and X) such as factory suspension parts, engine, transmission, body parts, interior fixtures and the on-board computer.
So I took my jeep to the shop a week ago to have the calipers, brakes, and rotors swapped. Lastnight on my way home my e- brake light came on and stayed on. after driving a few miles it went off but now it’s just staying on and going off. I checked my brake fluid and it’s fine, no visible leaks in any lines, and there is no play or mushy feeling in my brake pedal or e-brake handle. Does anyone have any idea of where to start looking at??
Check that the parking brake switch is opening fully when the handle is all the way down.
The brake warning light can mean various things, as described in your owner's manual.
