anyone have any idea how to get that handle off? i looked all over forums,,and i couldnt find it. thx for any help

just the plastic part of the ebrake handle,,,i tried a few different things,,,and im thinking it might just pull off? like the shift handle does..what are anyones thoughts?
my real problem,,is i dont know what it looks like inside a emergency brake handle with the push button.

I just finished looking at the 08 JK parts guide. It indicates the whole assembly, handle and "sled" are considered one unit and not seperately serviceable. Sled being the base. Looks like you unbolt the base and lift the whole unit out

yea that kinda makes sense,,i have my center console torn apart,,and im having a hard time figuring out how to get it over the ebrake,,which is a pita.

i figured it all out,, how to get the center console on and off,,and its alot easier than it might seem,, although still kinda a pain.
