Default "ECO" Light question

I was driving the other day and heard the warning beep and my check engine light came on and I noticed that the "ECO" light was not coming on anymore. Then two days later the check engine light went off and the "ECO" light was coming back on. Anyone ever had this happen? I don't pay attention to the ECO light because I really don't care if I am driving in fuel efficient manner or not so I'm not sure if it was coming on or not before the check engine light came on. I just thought it was odd that it started coming back on once the check engine light went off.

Not sure why that would happen.
You can turn that light off.
To turn it off, use the menu button on the left side of the steering wheel and watch the screen where ECO is usually displayed. Toggle them until you access the "personal settings". Flip through each setting until you get to the correct one to turn it off.

If you turn it off, then that location will display radio info I think.

If I remember correctly the eco light will not shine while you have a check engine light showing no matter how you drive it.

The best way I've found to turn that light off, almost entirely, is add larger tires and low gearing. 37s and 5.13s paired with the 3.6L seemed to do the trick for me.

Thanks for all the responses. The check engine light hasn't come back on so I'm not sure what was going on. Probably a sensor.
