Were is the egr at on the jks, I went to auto zone and they did not know were it was at, my check engine light is on, and the code says bad egr

What year is it? Also, I think a faulty vacuum line can also give codes for bad egr. This happened on my daughters Mitsubishi eclipse. I found a hole in a vacuum line. Replaced it and the code went away.

Its on the back passenger side of the engine near the top. Kind of a bitch to get to.

If you remove the inner fender wall it's much easier. A great tip from either ronjenx or markdorian. There should be a thread on it somewhere.

Thanks guys for the info, I found it and had it replace, somehow it was pluged up,
