Emissions system ready, how long?
2007 Jeep Unlimited X 4x4
After having a CEL taken care off by the dealer, I went to have the emissions testing done on the car. Of course, the guy told me the emissions system was not ready yet and that I would need to drive it for a few days.
According to the instruction manual, I should just drive it normally and I can check if it's ready by leaving the the ignition in the on position, after 15 sec the CEL will blink if its isn't ready or stay on if it is ready.
Wanting to get it taken care of, I drove around for about 3 hours and 80 miles. I've turned in started and stopped the engine several times, mixed both freeway, around town, full throttle driving and still not luck.
Suggestions?
Thanks for the help.

With the OBDII system, just driving around and stopping and starting won't set the paramenters. The temperature has to rise a certain amount, you need to cruise for a certain amount of time and a lot of other events have to take place. So you just need to drive normally for about a week and the parameters will set.
