Empty weight of a two door 08 sahara?
Hello all, gotta tow my two door sahara on a penske trailer. Penske says it weighs to much. My placard or sticker is missing on the door jam so I don't know how much it really weighs empty. Could someone be so kind to go check their jeep and let me know please? Thanks so much

Should be around 3750-3800 pounds with a soft top, more with a hard top. Possible a Sahara weighs a bit more due to all the included options.
My '11 Sport with 24s package (which includes most of the Sahara options), bumper, winch, hardtop, automatic, air, tools, jack, brawlers, and recovery gear weighs 4450 with nobody in the seats and half a tank of fuel.
Yours is gonna be somewhere between those numbers depending how its equipped.
Edit: Forgot to mention - the placard on the door only tells the maximum weight when fully loaded. It won't tell you how much the Jeep weighs sitting empty.
