Engine block heater
My new 2012 says it comes equipped with an engine block heater but I can't find it. Shouldn't it be in the grill? I need help finding it, a picture would be nice

ENGINE BLOCK HEATER — IF EQUIPPED
The engine block heater warms the engine, and permits quicker starts in cold weather. Connect the cord to a standard 110-115 Volt AC electrical outlet with a grounded, three-wire extension cord.
The engine block heater cord is found under the hood bundled in front of the battery tray.
The engine block heater must be plugged in at least one hour to have an adequate warming effect on the engine.
Warning!
Remember to disconnect the engine block heater cord before driving. Damage to the 110-115 Volt AC electrical cord could cause electrocution.

It took me a while to find the cord and plug on my '12 block heater. It is located on the drivers side behind the washer fluid reservoir.
The cord is coiled up nicely and zip tied there. I routed mine around the reservoir and horn past the radiator to access thru the grill.

One thing I have done on all my vehicles is leave the flat, skinny block heater cord under the hood and run a piece of good extension cord out through the grill. The flat block heater cords love to weather and weaken and crack when it is too cold out to fix them. It is a bit of messing around in the spring and fall to run the extra cord out the grill and then remove it for the summer, but it hasn't failed me yet. Try and loop some extra cord somewhere so if you forget to unplug in the morning and eff your cord end up, you can trim a few inches of extension cord off and start again. Use the good stuff, SJOOW 14/3 cab tire, and use a good quality cord end like the yellow Hubbell industrial ones.

I did something similar only I took off the front grill and ran the wire between the fender and the metal rad support and then back up and zip tied it to the stinger on my smitty built front bumper, no cord dangling around and you cant even see it from standing right in front.
