Engine check light flashing

Engine check light flashing
When I'm going up hill and I keep the rev's at 4000 the light starts flashing. If I drop the rev's it goes away. This is a 2007 JKU auto.
Any ideas what this might be ?

When the engine is running, the “Malfunction Indicator
Light” may flash to alert serious conditions that could
lead to immediate loss of power or severe catalytic
converter damage. The vehicle should be serviced as
soon as possible if this occurs.
