Tried to start the Jeep this morning and had trouble starting. When I got to work I needed to get the Jeep jumped. I had the battery, alternator, and starter tested; all tested good. Now the engine light is off for now. Little confused anyone having the same problem? Let me throw this into the mix. I've had problem with the Jeep starting before. I brought it to the dealership and they did the recall, replaced the battery and alternator. Worked for a while but every now and then it wouldn't crank the first couple of times then start. Does anyone think the problem is related. It stumped me because the engine light never came on before and I never needed a jump before.

I had a similar issue with my YJ a few years back. It would turn over fine sometimes and other times it would do nothing. I had the starter, the alternator and the battery checked out and all came back fine. It turned out that my battery terminal connections were bad. It was less then a $10 fix.
