Default Engine Oil Pan

Golly Wally Guys
I found a giant rock and it found my engine oil pan. Long story short the rock won. I ordered a pan from the dealer and when I got it today it came with the aluminum part of the pan attached and it also came with the large gasket total cost $175.00. My question is I only broke the steel metal lower pan. I just want that with the gasket. The dealer says they come as one unit and I have to replace both parts. Are they right ? Thanks

x2 You should consider getting the heavy duty replacement oil pan, just in case you run into the same situation again and this time your oil pan will not get damaged..

Two suggestions: First, PM JackMac4 because he had to replace his awhile back.
He also heard that you had to buy both pieces, yet I'm pretty sure he came up
with just the lower part. Second, everyone should have one of these ...
