Default engine running rough

Ok, my engine is running rough (If feels as though its missing a bit.) so I changed the plugs and wires. That seemed to fix the problem for about 2k miles. Now its running rough again. I was thinking electrical because the spark plug and wires solved the problem for a short period of time. Anyone else experience this type of problem? Anyone of any ideas on what the problem is?

Start with the basic stuff first. I'm assuming there are no codes. Clean the throttle body and run some fuel system cleaner. What octane fuel you run? How many miles are on the jeep?

what kind of condition were the plugs when you pulled them? could be something, such as a leaky injector, fouling the plug overtime causing the misses.

That or if it was an oil consuming engine, ring blowby causing plug fouling. Also check pcv valve

You should check the Ground cable on the Battery. Some people had problems because lack of ground on the electrical system. They solve the problem by addidng an extra ground.

Also check the throttle body and if it is dirty clean it. There is a write up about it.

ps.
Hope that you are not using E3 plugs.
