Default Engine sparking??

I had my sitting for a week and when I started it up, I heard what sounded like sparks or those poppers kids throw at the ground coming from the engine. I didn't see any sparks, but it sounded like it was coming from the spark plugs. Sound went away now. Should I be concerned and get it checked out?

Well yes get tit looked at. Get some windex and go outside while is dark and spray it around the motor while its running. The amonia will help show the spark. May be a bad boot or plug wire.

could also be lack of oil from sitting for a week - there's a thread on it in this forum.

I've had same issue after lettign it sit for several days, switched oil filters and haven't had the issue.

Thanks for the spark and oil information, Looks like I will have to do my best to not let mine sit.

I can see me using(trying) this one on the Mrs., but I actually have to take it out.
