I Have A 2007 Sahara 4 Door 3.8 V/6. The Engine Sucks No Milage No Power (6500 Miles) I Want To Install A 5.7 Hemi Or Small Block Ford Or Chevy,i Would Also Like To Get Rid Of (the Wire) It Really Screws Up Handling And Performance. My Wife Wants To Keep It Automatic, I Would Prefer An After Market Non Electronic Shift. Any Help,information,direction Would Be Appreciated. We Are Retired And Travel So I Need Something That Goes Up Hill.

The easiest swap, would probably be the hemi with the 545RFE transmission. You can still use your stock transfer case, plus all the electronics will work together with a simple plug and play harness and a computer flash.

The ford and chevy might be cheaper if using all chevy or all ford drivetrain with no adapters, but in the end will probably cause more problems than what they are worth trying to figure out the electronics.
