P1776 on a 2010

So reading though this post I am askinf the same thing but I don't have dealr warranty. So how do I fix it without going to a shop?

MY 2010 is throwing the the P1776 Code as well. From what I understand the Valve body will have to be replaced. This s the conclusion my mechanic came up with after researching the code.
