The light just came on as you were driving on highway?
It should only engage, if your in a slippy spot (mud, snow, ect)

The light will come on and stay on if you hit the ESP button.... This tells you that its disengaged.

If driving conditions were normal highway then check your steering wheel, is it strait?

Just keep an eye on it. Mine went on awhile back and wouldn't go out. My steering wheel wasn't completely straight so I took it to the shop get aligned. Let never came back after that.
