Default Tail gate replacement

Well I did a bit of a steep drop off at Katemcy 4X4 run this last weekend and fairly put the woop to my tail gate. All bent up. rear tire caught on a rock on my way down. well its either time to get the rubber mallet out or find a replacement for the gate. I looked most places on the web. and not but one, that I could find. Anyone know of a replacement web site for a bit of research? ? most of the gates are for earlier models. more air venting than needed

Most junk yards can track one down for you if buying a new one is not in the budget for you.

If you can buy a new one wholesale, that is the way to go. A used gate, being an assembly with latch, hinges etc, will cost you more than a new one. Make sure you edge out the gate with the proper color paint prior to replacing it...

Thats the problem alot of us are having. The JKs are still too new to find an abundance of used or junked parts. In a couple more years we will have the same advantage as TJ and YJ owners

You would be the perfect candidate to convert your tailgate to a fold down type. Get busy!
