Default Esp help

So I own I early model 07 JKUR and the wheel code doesn't work at turning the ESP off so I went to the dealer so they could flash it, they told me that MOPAR doesn't allow it cause it's a safety issue. Is there another's way to flash it? Any help would be great

I own an 07 too. Most effective way to disable your ESP is with a kill switch. Very easy, takes 30 min. I put my switch above the driver side dash speaker. Here's the directions https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-w...riteup-260247/

The kill switch works perfect, allowing you to tuen your ESP off when ever, with the ability to leave it on too.

You might try another dealer. Some will do this.

Well I don't have cruise control so I guess I'll be ok. Would like to do the kill switch but I don't know where to find it on my 07.

Plenty of write ups on how to do the kill switch mod for esp. Simple, effective, and reversible with the turn of the key.

Hi,

The most effective, safest, but costly way in doing it is using a programmer like the trinity diablo. You can always turn it on and off.
