Default ESP light came on for no reason? help

On my way home last night my esp and bas lights came on with a chime. I pulled over turned off the jeep and re started it then lights went off. Hope this is not the start of a clock spring issue. I have a 2 inch leveling kit with 34s steering get wheel is dead center. Been driving this set up for a year. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

When the lights came on, were you entering a turn or curve, and possibly braking at the same time?

Maybe turning a little. It was on my way home from work a route I take 300 times a year.

Could be a wheel speed sensor on it's way out. I have replaced a couple of them. Get the code pulled and I will be able to give you a better answer.

The first time I encountered a situation where my ESP activated (I was going 55 on a back road, passing a vehicle and hit a pothole while changing lanes) - the ESP light came on, chimed and remained lit until I restarted the vehicle.

It hasn't happened since - that was 5,000 miles ago

Same here. It has happened a couple of times to me. Back road, changing lanes and light comes on and won't go out until I shut the Jeep off and restart it. As long as it goes out on restart and doesn't effect anything else I will live with it. Never felt the brakes being applied or engine losing power when it happened.

Drive my '13 JK 2-door auto ridiculously fast down a very windy empty road pushing the ESP & ABS to their limits. Just a slight nudge and brake with no lights or bells coming on. Worked great.

I have also seen where the same size tires made by two different brand companies will cause the traction control and ABS lights to flicker on and off randomly with a chime since no two companies make tires perfectly the same exact size and the overall aspect ratios are different.
