Default Excellent Dealer experience with fourth gear shifting problem!

My 2012 jk two door six speed has had a problem with fourth gear that started when I drove it off the lot!

The problem is pretty random, you go to shift into fourth and it grinds or occasionally pops out of gear

Only happens every once in a while, like once per drive...

Brought to dealer and they said there was a tech service bulletin and they replaced the boot

On way home from dealer it had the same fourth gear grind

I brought it back to dealer and they can't get the right part till end of month so they got the o.k. To put in a brand new transmission!

I was pretty floored...I mean I take mine off road and its crusted u dear earth with some dr clay that just won't go away plus I have the evo skid plate system that covers oil pan, transmission and rear shaft

I can't believe how flexible and nice they have been

Even giving me free loaner cars!

Default Same here

I had an issue with first gear popping out on my 2008 unlimited. I took it to the dealer and mentioned it when I got my oil change. they took it for a spin and nothing. they told me to take it back if it starts again. a week later I took it back. it popped out on the tech when he pulled it out, He drove it right back in the garage and ordered me a new transmission. no questions, no mickey mouse fix. just a 2 week wait and a drop off. they had it done in two days. They have been great since day 1. If you'r in Mass. Imperial jeep in Mendon is great.
