I went through a couple decent size puddles (not huge) on a dirt road and then had an exhaust/burning smell inside the Jeep. It happened a couple times after going through puddles, any ideas??

 

Probably just some crud trying to burn it self off. But I know there are holes in the little cargo cubby and the spot where the scissor jack is stored on my jeep that exhaust fumes creep through.

 

I used to go through a stream bed! I also used to take it to the car wash after a heavy trail, unplugged the floor plugs, power was from a distance all inside but the dash and ran fans through it. If its dry enough, left windows cracked for a week. But this is winter time :(
