Ditto. I want to get the fabric to make a sealed windjammer. I was going to try an upholstery shop, but if Bestop told you where to get the exact match, please share.

Bestop gave me this info here.

"There is a company called B-D Company who will sell you fabric. The factory color is black sailcloth."

JKJoe, you can go to just about any car upholstery maker, convertible top maker and they will fix you up..

Are you planing on removing the isinglass section, or just covering it??

Either way, MUCH cheaper that building a new panel etc. with the lower plastic flange..

I might consider that down the road too, as you don't really use them while driving.. And there's the added no lookie lookie security..

OH, and the COOL factor..!!

... probably useless on the road though
I had a similar idea, only I was thinking of a mesh cab cover
to camp under. I looked up mosquito netting but that's as
far as I got.

The more I think about it, and design in my head, I think I have my final concept. Instead of destroying my current panels to use to zippers and plastic channel, I spoke to my local shop, and they think they can make my thoughts come to reality. I want the to remove the plastic window section of the panel and sew in tent style mesh in place of it. After that incorporate an outside zipper that will be used to attach the cover panel for the mesh, which this panel will be completely removable. The way it is designed, it should be pretty water tight. I hope it works out the way it is in my head.

Some awning shops carry all the stuff you are looking for. I worked at one once up on a time. You could use velcro around the inside just to keep the peeping toms out.
