Default A few questions

1- like most I have a leak somewhere...I had alot of water after a big rain

{ I pulled the carpet of course it was under water }
{I took the top off and put it back on incase that may have been a prob}
{Washed it and put a hose to it and NO WATER IN THE FLOOR}
{ I did get a small amount @ the top of the door not much but I was blasting it so I think that's not bad.I of course got the channel of water come crashing down when I opened the door.

My question

So I don't think I should take it to the dealer or should I?

2- It seems to me the steering has a little clunk once in a while,any ideas?

{ I had a GMC that did that and they had to repack the steering box,not sure if this is the prob or not any ideas?

3- I have a squeek when I shift and thought it was my clutch but I think it's something else,you can push the clutch and it is fine but when moving and you shift it has a squeek... whats up

4- does the jk have anything that needs grease or any fittings ?

Should I take it in ?

Take it in....there is a TSB on the squeeky clutch, the clunk is addressed in threads on here but you just as well have them fix it. I also think getting documentation is a good thing for your other problems as they may be able to help a bit on the leak.

I had my hard top repaired after finding leaks last winter, I went through the carwash today and it's leaking again. Back to the dealer...

The steering clunk is well-documented on this forum, but I have yet to see a TSB from Chrysler with a fix. Just search "clunk in steering" or "steering wheel clunk" on this forum and you'll find several threads addressing this issue. Good luck!

Just my two cents worth but it's new, under warrenty etc.etc. If its not a hassle (my dealer loans me a car) I would take it in. They were able to fix my leaking top, I had to take it in twice (left the carpet out for about a month waiting for it to rain) Now have no leaks or any other issues. (for now)

I agree with all the posters who said take it in.
The more documentation now is better for future visits.
