Default Firming up my jku 2009

I am looking for a little help, I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler JKU and compared to my 2012 JKU the 2009 just feels sloppy. I have changed shocks to Bilstien, I found springs from a new rubicon but have not installed them yet.... What else could / should I do to firm up they ride so it doesn't feel so sloppy?

It is mostly stock and is my wife's so it will mostly stay that way....

Thanks,
JH

New springs will certainly firm things up a little bit. I moved from lower level Mopar coils to higher ones and the difference was immediate. Did you feel any change with the bilsteins? Also (obviously) double check your tire pressure even with TPMS.

Track bar and lower control arm bolt upgrade. I did mine on my 2008 and now it feels more solid than it did new. Do the upgrade on both Jeeps since both have the wrong bolts.

How many miles? Have the ball joints been done? What tires are you running?

Car guys replace all the bushings with urethane and weld in sub-frame and strut/shock tower connectors. Probably not the best thing for a Jeep, but an option that hasn't been mentioned.

I did the urethane bushings for motor mounts in my old jeep and the vibration transmission was pretty terrible.

Yeah. Urethane can be brutal. I did a Pedders bushing replacement on my 2008 LX and the thing handled like it was on rails. Of course, it rode about as softly as a Track variant Corvette - every pavement seam was blatantly obvious.

Air pressure is spot on, bilstieins made the sloppy a cushy slop but don't get me wrong I love them.... I just think everything else is worn down.
