I did the same recently. The sun is your friend. Let the top get warm so it stretches. Otherwies it's straightforward.

I just got one from a fellow JK owner in Texas and installed it last weekend in Michigan. I just used the owerner manuel and it was no big deal.

Now it got cold again and I cant put the top down.

Very true. I was too anxious my first time (boy this sounds bad) and ignored the advice about letting it sit in the sun. It was real hard to stretch and I was cursing the vids bc they made it look so easy. Now that it is on and been in the sun for a while it really is as easy as they made it look.

And thank god because I love taking it down....

There are rubber seal pieces on both sides right up behind the front drivers door and the front passenger side that you have to take off first. I had to take everything back off, because I didn't take those off first. The manual isn't that great on explaining that. Goodluck it took me about a day before I had the thing figured completely out.

It's on !! and i like it WAY better than that hard top
A buddy and i got er' on in about an hour..wasn't too tricky. We are both previous Wrangler owners so we figured it out pretty quick.
I love how i can see out of my rear window now. Doesn't have that huge wiper blade box there any more. One thing i don't like is that i lose the convenient flip up rear window. If i want to put anything in the back bigger than the tailgate, i have to struggle with that rear window lower bar....PITA.
N E Way, didn't expect it to be to hard..just looking for some tips from people who had already been there.

Thx, Tony

If you have Sunrider, just make sure you fold it up properly or it kites a bit over 60 km/h.

Easiest way to remember is start with a fold going back from rear door.

Cheers.

Thanks for the tip Brad,

It's supposed to hit 80F this w/e and we're taking a trip to the mountains, so i plan on folding it then.
