so i had this very annoying creaking or squeak coming from the top of my window but it only happens when the top is down. While detailing my jeep this weekend i was wiping down the plastic on top of the windshield and noticed the squeak when i was wiping it down. I pulled the center plastic and found out the metal clips holding it to the metal body was causing it. Put some white lithium on the and installed it. Squeak gone. i guess when the top was down the air was moving the plastic around.
