Default Flash to stock possible?

Hello everyone. Bought a 2007 Sahara unlimited a few weeks ago. Has 35s and a lift. It would struggle a little on the freeway so I just had it geared to a 4.56. The shop has been trying to tune it to the new gears and said it will not allow it. They said it looks like someone has tuned it before and it will not let them override it. So I called Jeep about having it flashed back to stock and they said it’s not possible? Does that make sense?

Thanks for the help!

At present my Jeep ECU will not accept changes. It is going to a friend who is Service Manager at a dealer and they are resetting the modules with WiTech software. But funny enough my HP Tuners software goes in and still makes changes even though the Jeep ECU does not propel the Jeep

it’s been a mess. I called the jeep dealer here and they acted like nothing could be done. I have a tuner that said he will try it. Worse case would be buying a refurbished unit for a few hundred bucks I guess.

What tuner do you have and what is the shop using? Call a differenct dealership, they can flash it but its gonna cost some coin.

The guy that re geared my Jeep has set me up with a shop. He said they have a Mopar tuner? 250 bucks to do it. My speedometer is only off two miles an hour after regearing but I guess I should still get it tuned for the gear
