Default Fog Light Crack

Well, one of my factory fog lights is cracked. Anyone know how much it costs to replace these cheap ass lenses?

You cannot replace the lense only, you have to replace the whole light assembly and it is expensive. Better to find used ones in the for sale area. if you look at it closely, I bet it is not cracked from an impact by a rock but just heat cracked. Mine look terrible from heat cracks. I put mine on used from a forum member but if I had bought it with fogs, I would make the dealer warranty it...some on here have I beleive.

Unfortunately you have to buy the entire housing. 172 bucks at my dealer... try what N2rock suggests first

EDIT better yet, try the WTB section.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe a heat crack. The lens kinda has some weird artifact shape cracks - like a tiny triangle or something. My '93 Corrado was notorious for cracking fog lights. Just thought that maybe in 14 years, there'd be a mfr that could make fog lamps that don't crack so easily. I'll check out e-bay and I appreciate the help fellas.

Just a thought for a few people that live in winter wonderland area's to look into getting the 3M tape to protect your headlights & foglights.

Very cheap $40.00 for the kit installed!! You can get clear, blue, yellow & tinted. I have done this to my last 3 vehicles.....it has saved me a few $100.00 of broken fog lights from flying rocks when they gravel around here in the winter time.

I have not had any heat crack issues with my factory fogs.....but it should be interesting with the 3M tape if that will affect lense and create heat cracks like a few other owners.
