Default Fog Light Resistor

It seems the factory fogs have some kind of resistor that makes us inable to use anything more than a 42w bulb. That would be my guess as to why they blink on and off...lame.

Thats what I was thinking. Also, I have not had much luck with Silverstars as far as longevity goes.

I've been using the Silver Stars since 2000 and have only had 2 burn out.
They are made by an OEM supplier and designed to work as such.
They won't last forever but I think they meet the expectation of being equivilent to a OEM bulb in quality and longivity.

I don't shop at your swap meet you are talking about. However, I will never buy Sylvania silverstars again, based on my experience with them.

You can search reviews on other boards if you'd like. They have made a bad name for themselves on a few forums I've frequented. But if you have good luck, then thats great!
