no worries, I'll keep you in mind, might go hit the trails in teh next few weeks. Having that itch again, to go break something. Finally got the Cannister to stop coding (they hope!) they found a missing o-ring on the one of the cannister connections.

No problems here. Drove around in the floods here in NY all day, was a blast!

I was in Afton Canyon toward the western end of the Mojave trail over the weekend. There are several smaller stream crossings, and then a larger one that my book said "can be deeper than usual" so obviously I pressed on with reckless abandon.

I'd say it was probably 3-4 feet deep when I got halfway through -- I had a serious bow wave going, and the water came up over the hood. My wife and friend thought we'd get stuck for sure, but the JK came through with no issue whatsoever. Then we realized we'd missed some caves a mile back, so we headed back through in the reverse direction, and again coming forward after the caves. On the last crossing, it seemed like some water made it in to the ventilation ducts, but again, no issues at all.

I was very impressed with all of this. I was poking around under the hood inspecting things just to be 100% sure, and I was especially impressed with the air box design -- its got a little mini snorkel and then an open box (with a drain) and the filter pulls from the top of the box. There was probably 1/8" of water in the bottom when I checked it. It made me seriously think twice about installing a CAI.

Oh yeah, I have a 3" lift and 35's, which helps my stock clearance by about 4.5"... impressive nonetheless, I think.
