Default Freedom top filled with water..

Discovered today that the passenger side panel had water inside it. Heard it swishing around when i started to drive.
Didnt drive for a couple of days and it has been raining almost non-stop. This has never happen before. Think maybe because the way the jeep was sitting on my driveway, on a slight decline facing with the nose down? Idk?
Anyways. Removed and let water drain from small hole in the back. Not sure why that hole is there? Maybe i should fill it with silcone.

Never had his happened, will have to watch for it. Heat might help, blow dry the panel every once and a while.

I had this happen to me. Check the top for any holes. Mine was when I first bought my jeep one of the panels had a small hole.

Take it off get a hex or torx that fit the brackets that hold it in and take brackets off. The water can drain out of these holes.

I fixed mine by going to the dealer since this was damage that was caused by them. They said it was impossible and that I must have caused the damage. Since I know this wasn't true I went out to the lot and switch one of my freedom panels with another jeep on the lot.... Problem solved.

Yea i drained the water. Not sure whats going on. Had this Jeep almost 3 years and never had any type of problem with leaks. Think it just may be from the massive amount of rain ee have been having here. If it happens again i will plug that little hole so water cant back up and get in.

If that hole looks purposefully put there it could be for pressure equalization. I'd check mine but it's buried away for the season.

I had this problem earlier this year and i took it to the dealership and they first replaced the weatherstripping on the passenger side. Didnt fix the issue so they then replaced the passenger side freedom panel and havent had an issue since .......

My passenger side panel got water in it last year. I drained it out and never had a problem with it again... That might be because I keep my TrekTop on until rain starts turning into snow.
