Default Freedom top leak

has anyone had any issue with their freedom top leaking? I've taken mine off once and it has been back on now for about 4 weeks. It has been rained on a few times with no problem. We got a little rain last night (nothing bad) and on the way to work this morning I got about an eyedropper full of water falling from the center seam right above the L bracket in the center of the top. Just ran out onto the dash/radio. At first it appeard to be coming from the bolt attaching the L bracket but I turned the bracket and Ran my fingers up around the rool bar and felt water. Not a lot just a little bit. Once I dried my fingers off and then rechecked it appears to be dry. Any similar issues or suggestions? Thanks.

Mine leaked a bit after it was off as well. I took it off and cleaned the rubbers and repositioned it. Didn't leak after that.

Mine has been hit and miss. Clean the rubber, clean the edge of the freedom tops, make sure they are flush and even with the windshield frame. Normal rain mine won't, but if it is heavy and sitting, sometimes.

I use the water, when it does leak, to wipe down the dust off the dash!

When you say you clean the rubber. What do you use? Mine will leak once in a while when my Jeep is sitting outside and it rains hard. The problem is solved right now because I live in San Antonio and it doesnt rain here anymore.

Is it fire proof? Seems like all of central Texas is being burned up. Stay safe.

I just use soap and water. There might be something special used to clean them.
